Currently 19 going to school and working a 20/hr a week minimum wage part time job. The jobs feels like a total waste of time as I could easily make that money in other ways (ebay) and work for myself. With summer coming up I don't want to be too busy working to really enjoy myself. However I might find it hard to motivate myself to buy and sell since I also collect some things that I sell as a hobby.
I value all the time I have. I have a lot of hobbies and I enjoy my time so much. I want to wake up and work when I want not when I have to.
I can't think of many reasons to stay other than having a steady flow of money (even though it's small) and some taxes for when I move out. My friend was sort of bragging how he worked an 11 hour day and was gonna get time and a half and how I should work with him, but that just doesn't seem like the life. That same day I went thrift shopping and got some things that I would be able to flip for atleast $70. Why would anyone want to work more? Anyone else work for themself or on their own and any tips to stay motivated
