So when you click on the "how we measure" link it shows they are measuring the waist across laid flat, but the measurements listed seem to be double that number, in some cases at least. Like some 4x/5x pants say 38, but others say 40 or 50 something. Is there really that much of a discrepancy in sizing from one garment to the next or are these items not being consistently measured?
