I just wanted to give a big shout out to this sub!
Six months ago I had about 7k in revolving Dept, was living paycheck to paycheck, had zero savings, nothing in my 401k, and a credit score under 650 with derogatory marks on my credit report. On top of all this, I had a second child on the way, and a rocky marriage due to money troubles.
Due to PF, I was able to create a budget, pay off all my revolving Dept, start paying into a 401k, put 8k into an emergency fund, remove all of my derogatory marks on my credit report, solidify my marriage, raise my credit score to 790, and no longer live paycheck to paycheck.
I can't thank you all enough for the valuable info available in this sub, and try to spread the knowledge and give back.
