I just received a job offer from a competitor company. They’re offering 16k more in base salary and higher commission rates. The job is essentially the same role I’m in now and in. The same location so I don’t have to move. I don’t have all of the details on the benefits but I assume they’re similar also.
I initially went looking for new opportunities to leverage a raise in my current job, which I received. But this is a pretty good offer. The stress of telling my boss I’m leaving and going through the onboarding process all over again/ meeting all new coworkers is making me concerned about taking it.
What should I do?
