I've posted here before, and I am just looking for some advice because this summer, I will be getting a job that will be paying upwards of $20/hour. However my mom wants to claim my account, and she will be able to have access to it and I will not unless she is there and gives her signature. I don't necessarily trust her as we have had some problems in the past and I'm wondering if I can get some help on whether or not I should just make my own bank account at a separate bank. I'm only 16 btw.
