Hi, I have a question about international transactions...
In a certain wire transfer, it says the transcation will be posted to receiver's account within 2 business days.
If the transaction was made online on a Sunday by Sender,, and the Monday is a holiday in the Sender's country but not the Receiver's country, 2 business days would still mean Tuesday and Wednesday correct? Because in one country there was a holiday?
Or since it's an international transaction, 2 business days are Monday and Tuesday? It's both very large banks, bith sending and receiving, and online banking is used both ends.
My common sense tells me that it's Tuesday and Wednesday but before I tell this to the receiver I'd rather have another opinion:)
