I just graduated college last year and working for this company for 5 months now. As mentioned in the title, I never work overtime because I can actually finish my duties within the 9-5 timeframe and I feel guilty to stay overtime when I don't have any meaningful tasks to do. Today, the CEO personally went to my little desk in the corner and asked me if I'm aware that I will get incentive in working overtime. I told him I'm aware of it and I just choose not to because I will feel guilty. He then urged me to send him an email or text if I'm looking for errands to do. I think he only says that for the sake of it since he has a personal secretary to do errands for him. I don't really understand his intentions and I don't know what to do. I still feel guilty in working overtime but I would gladly welcome an increase in my weekly paycheck. Please give advice, thanks.
