Back when amd was at $9.50 I was trying to get people to buy amd before earnings. I tried to explain amd’s product lineup, its strength, how it was oversold, how it’s competiton (intel) was behind on 10nm, and how crypto was insignificant to their bottom line. I got downvoted to hell, for whatever reason, and a bunch of people laughed at me for “pumping” amd like I was some fool.
Here was the OP:https://www.reddit.com/r/investing/comments/8d73dr/buy_amd_now/
Like warren buffet said, be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful. It seems that even here, when stocks tumble, the bears come out and people get scared and sell low, when really it was a golden opportunity to buy.
This just goes to show, research your own companies and don’t make decisions based on the current emotional sentiment. We as consumers are the best guage on whether or not a company has a solid product.
