I have 3 really severe and probably infected ingrown toenails on my feet that have been impeding on my daily life and making work very painful (im a janitor). The pain is probably more than anything ive dealt with before this and it's on a regular basis now. It's also pool season and it's really embarassing to deal with this when im invited to water related functions.
I'm only 21 and I dont know how to deal with doctor payments or how to even get in touch with a doctor to do the procedure to fix my toes. The prices I looked up online definitely look like something I wouldnt be able to afford, and I don't have any health insurance to help me either. I just need maybe a little explanation of how to get this fixed so I can live my life again. Thanks!
Edit: My phone is really low right now but I should be home in an hour or less.
Edit Edit: Im back, all the advice is very welcome and i think im pretty committed to trying to do it on my own, I had it done once as a kid and even watched them do it so i know what im getting into. This thread also wasnt really intended to be an at home surgery thread as i still dont know how to go about getting a doctor but i appreciate it all!
