Hello r/DIYI feel like Im new at posting to Reddit so please excuse me for any errors, as I'm on a mobile.I live in a HOA community for 2ish years, and they had sent a letter requesting that we seal our wooded decks before the weather for worse.Buthe funny thing is, is that all the decks in the community have been decks in my community are covered with this "spray on" concrete? I'm sort but I'm not sure what this is.Pictures: https://ift.tt/2KjGFWf had rained the last 2 days, but the weather will be warming up soon.I am wondering what to do to help keep my deck safe from either weathering and how to repair the chipped exposed part of the deck? And if anyone can tell me what this covering is and why it was selected for a deck? Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance!Side note: This was a request to use a wood sealant was made in Nov/Dec '17. We only had 1 day of snow then and 3 days of snow in Feb. Which is why I have come to reddit to ask for help, without the HOA knowing.Edit: Please ask any questions you have and I'll try my best to answer them for you! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2wvRLoS
