I had the idea to make a quick equation to determine if you should keep or throw something away. Im not great with math so im calling for help. here is an example:
| Range | Operation | |
|---|---|---|
| Monetary Value | 1-∞ | Mutiply |
| Size | .10-1 | Multiply |
| Intrinsic Value | 1-100 | Multiply |
| Months Unused | 1-∞ | Divide |
Example:
| Desk | Values |
|---|---|
| Monetary Value | 60 |
| Size | .6 |
| Intrinsic Value | 1 |
| Months Unused | 2 |
| Item | Equation |
|---|---|
| Desk | 60 X .6 X 1 / 2 = 18 |
| Bed | 100 X 1 X 1 / 1 = 100 |
| Bluetooth Speaker | 10 X .2 X 1 / 6 = .33 |
| Jorts | 12 X .3 X 1 / 8 = .45 |
| Cheap Push Up Grips | 1 X .2 X 1 / 1 = .2 |
| Love Note | 1 X .1 X 80 / 9 = .88 |
Ideally any item with a value over 1 would be kept and anything under 1 would not. It's a bit too cumbersome and doesn't work for small, cheap useful things. I also think the scale of intrinsic and/or beauty needs adjusting.
