We're working on a remodel plan and are running into difficulties with a door solution for the bathroom. For a number of reasons, we're constrained on the footprint of the bathroom and we'd like a tub in this bathroom for future kids.Inward swinging would limit the vanity size and overlap the tub a bit. Outward swinging would come out into the hallway. We don't like the gap that a barn door has, especially on a bathroom. Normal pocket door would cover a spot for shelving we'd like to have in the hallway, to the left of the bathroom doorway. We also have considered two french doors, but don't like that you'd have to close in a certain order due to trim to block the gap.So... I'm wondering if a double duty pocket door, like the one I've drawn would work. Sort of like a pocket door / barn door combination. Your thoughts are appreciated! I've searched for something like this online and haven't seen any other folks doing this. Thank you!! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2x08mld
