I should preface this by saying I HATE buying new cars, so I don’t. Even buying cars that are a few years old can be a pain bc you lose a lot of value on them, although not as quickly.
Anyways, I came across this interesting article where this guy starts with a crappy car and ends up selling them to upgrade.
He basically churns older, used cars, drives them for a while, then plus some savings each month, turns them into better vehicles.I knew this was possible but never had seen it laid out in a systematic way.
As someone who doesn’t like spending top dollar on cars, but actually likes cars, I’m interested in if anyone has started with a crappy car and actual been able to move up like this guy did??
