I have my doubts on whether or not this will have any meaningful long term impact but the markets have been moving sideways for months now because of all the trade war jitters. This weekend's headline might spark a meaningful rally. Would be nice to beak out of the range trading that's been going on since February.
The US economy is doing very well fundamentally. It's likely in the late stage of the growth cycle but earnings season was solid but the markets couldn't find a direction. We'll see if this is the catalyst we've been waiting for.
