Hello PF
I started a new job a little over a year ago, just recently the CEO quit/was fired and the new CEO quit/fired most of the senior staff (VPs and such). My role is in support of some initiative that the old CEO was pushing heavily and the new CEO is not interested in at all. I figure I have a month, maybe more before new CEO gets around to hacking at much lower level employees working for initiatives that he doesn't care about.
What is your feeling about minimum lengths of time at jobs? I'm old and out of touch with that sort of thing nowadays. It used to be 3-5 years... is that still the case? I'm not sure if it's worth trying to proactively switch jobs if it will "look bad" on my resume or just wait until the (seemingly) inevitable layoff.
Thanks!
