I am going to begin the process of moving towards a simpler life. For me this means being less tied to one location and moving around a bit. Initially I thought I would be going back to school in the fall to learn a trade but I am not so sure that this is going to get me where I want to be. I would only come out of school debt-laden and may not have much to show for it. In other words, I may end up in a worse position.
At the advice of one of the users on this sub, I checked out CoolWorks.com and found a job I would be interested in, a seasonal bus driver for Park City Transit in Park City, UT. So I decided to apply because I already have a Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger Endorsement. I am hoping to be ready for their September training class and see what seasonal labor feels like.
I had a scare this past week where I thought I had cancer and my doctors thought so too but it looks like I am in the clear. Now might be the time to live a little.
