This is an issue with investing in a company run by Elon Musk, you will out-performance competition while still missing all the hard goals set by Musk. For example, Spacex has never hit a Musk timeline goal either, but Spacex also crushes competitors in how fast it accomplishes stuff. Is spacex a failure because it has never done things as fast as Musk thought they would?
