I've searched through the posts already, and a lot of people say that the shoes suggested are... ugly. I'm also not looking for boots, but something that looks more like an athletic shoe.
I'm in my 20s, and I have a trip to Japan planned soon, which means a lot of walking because I'm that annoying friend that thinks anything under an hour is "walking distance". I will also need these shoes to play Pokemon Go (1-3 hours daily) in mostly flat cities.
For specific details, I'm 5'3", overweight (sadly), have wide feet, but it's not a problem most of the time, and my arches are normal. My feet always hurt before my legs, and I tend to get blisters along the bottom outer part of my feet (from the heel to the pinkie toe).
If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it! :)
