Recently bought an Everki Beacon and I am decently satisfied with it. However it is more of a laptop only bag and I frequently have a lot of loose papers/notebooks that I carry with me but it doesn't really have the slots for them, just more a big opening in the first compartment where the corners get crumpled and things get lost. My laptop is pretty big and won't fit in many bags that say they fit a 17in computer (they must mean a 17in Macbook Pro). If anyone has experience with a good bag for large computers, let me know.
I've also tried a Timbuk2 backpack, think it was the Q Laptop. If you have that bag, you'll know the laptop compartment only opens like a quarter and I couldn't even fit my computer in there. I think I should've bought a smaller laptop...
