Kinda as it says on the tin, I am looking for a good pair of boots that can be worn nearly every day and yet will last a very long time. Major concerns are...

  • Will be involved in a mixed environment of casual use and walking and more rugged and potentially damaging conditions, such as possible hiking or yard work or exposure to water.

  • I don't intend to let them get struck by any physical damage (Like rocks or debris or falling metal items) but if they can withstand or protect from them, it will be a bonus.

  • Must last longer than say a few months before giving up the ghost or anything. (This is a major concern with most early shoes I got, as more common footwear had a tendency to go from brand new to falling apart in a single month from just casual strolling down a hallway. The boots I wear now have lasted a decent amount of time, with my previous pair lasting about 2 years and my present one about that old and still standing. But I still rather not be able to watch my boots visible get degraded and gain potential holes in them.

  • Fashion isn't a concern (Does not have to look antique or rugged or have pom poms hanging from them or anything). I'll save that for another pair of boots I won't wear so often. But if a black pair is possible, then it'll be a good bonus.

  • It is rather warm where I live, but I do plan to move to someplace possibly cooler later.

  • Budget for something at least decent is around 100-150 USD, but I am willing to consider higher prices if the pair is worth it.

If anyone can help with the search, that will be great. And thank you kindly, if you have any seggestions.
