I’m looking to build a floating desk for my home office. The dimensions I want it to be are 60”W x 20”D, using 2x4’s for the frame (outsides and two supporting) and MDF for the top. I will be using a corner, so the desk will be anchored to studs on two walls and the other side will be open. Should this be sufficient for supporting home office equipment, without using a leg on the open end?
