I'm moving out on my own next week. I currently eat a lot of fast food because I don't have access to a kitchen. I'm not familiar with cooking, so I want to start small. I will be giving up fast food except for the occasional treat. I've had enough of it in the past year that I have started to crave the healthy, fresh foods more than anything.
I'm looking to spend $50 or less a week on groceries. Preferably less if some items could carry from one week to the next. I've got some basics like salt/pepper and oil already purchased.
Please feel free to suggest changes to this grocery list. I'm just going by what I know I will eat/can cook without burning. I will have my boyfriend over most nights so a lot of the meals will be for two.
Note: I'm not big on meat. I only eat it on sandwiches because I'm not sure what else to put on there to make it filling. I also bought a rice cooker. I heard that they're really versatile. Also, I've got a few things like macaroni and cheese, ramen noodles, and pasta noodles already.

Thanks so much!!
