I'm going to be receiving about 400k as an inheritance in one years time. I'm a missionary so I don't earn any money and live of support. I'm hoping to turn this money into a good investment so I can be financially independent and stop requesting support. At the moment all I've been looking into is real estate. Buying a house living in one bedroom. It's just my wife and I then renting out the other two bedrooms. I live in Hawai'i so the rental return can be decent. I was hoping to get advice from the more avid investors. How would you use the 400k? What are other avenues of investment that yeild better returns? Mahalo!
