I've tried many different types of glue in my diy career and few have been successful. Wood glue, crazy glue, superglue, and the list goes on; the only success I've had is with epoxy. Anyway, this time I am making a simple picture frame for a friend's wedding. I want it to sit sorta deep so I've mitered the wood accordingly. I tried Gorilla Glue (it was recommended to me). I only tried it on one corner because I didn't know how well it was going to work. I don't have any right-angle clamps except one for pocket holes so I set the glue piece in the corner of a garage shelf I built. It was a tight squeeze so I figured it would push the corner piece together. 24hrs later, it worked... but when fell apart 10 mins later. I'm getting a RA clamp today but am I doing something else wrong too? Wood glue seems like its simple enough. Any help for this dummy would be appreciated. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2GHIspZ
