I came across a very clever little project I'd replicate (link below), but I think it could use some modification: It's a simple business card holder made out of a hollowed-out cassette tape casing, using a hinge on one long edge and a set of magnets mounted on the inside of the other long edge to keep it shut. The catch is the hinge: they recommend just a piece of heavy tape, which I'm quite skeptical about having any meaningful durability. Can y'all recommend an alternative kind of hinge that would work for this sort of project? Do they make tiny hinges that I could mount on the exterior of the casing(/would it be good idea to use such a hinge)? Is my skepticism unfounded and the right kind of tape would actually work just fine? Or should I just do magnets on all four corners and just have to accept that using this item would require fumbling with removing the top entirely?https://ift.tt/1EExrch via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2qShbqE
