Hi! So here's what the beast looks like:https://ift.tt/2JXohmF added the plastic wrapper after the overflow pipe broke away from the trap and various o-rings disintegrated. It's held up for about a year and we never have baths (just showers) so we have no need for the overflow. But it's time to make it right.I don't even know what's going on with the pipe from the trap to the outside but it seems like it might be held together with jam and loom bands.I'd really appreciate some advice on what I need to do to make this proper.I can manage to replace the trap and overflow pipe but I don't even want to touch the pipe work in the 2nd pic. Is that normal? Is it a case of if it ain't broke don't fix it, or do I need to rip it out and put something better in, and if so what, please? Thanks a lot in advance. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2K2FWJM
