So I inherited my grandmother's house, and realized she has a huge flagstone path with pretty white stones buried under 5 inches of dirt and grass! Apparently they didn't do any upkeep on it after it was put in, and it sunk and got buried about ten years after it was put in (about 1950). So far I've just dug the dirt off of it, but now I don't know what to do next (other than to raise it back up somehow). Should I use sand? Compacting gravel? Decomposed granite? There are so many products on the market I'm at a loss. I want to get the job done as cheaply as possible, but not if it means it sinks in 10 years from now. Looking for something that will last! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2EE4tAV
