So I work in food service, and this place is incredibly wasteful with ziploc bags; they put bags of things in ziploc bags, put ice in bags, and just about anything and throw them away. Most of the time they're perfectly fine so I've been rescuing them because I hate the idea of wasting them and filling landfills with plastic.
I can't make them stop (unfortunately) but I have the problem of finding uses for these bags before they overtake my pantry shelves. Quart, one and two gallon bags are what I have, so I'm hoping you fine people have unique uses for these bags that haven't occurred to me. Obviously, food is the number one item, but I try to reduce the use of that also. Any ideas?
