I’m in my early 20s, living on my own, working in tech. I remember the ‘08 recession, but I was in my early teens and didn’t fully understand all the economics. I’ve never experienced a recession while financially independent.
I’m doing reasonably well financially- credit cards paid every month in full, a fair amount in savings, some student/car loans- but with the recent policies of the Trump administration, I’m worried about the looming recession.
What should I be doing now to prepare, and when it hits?
