Title says it - got my first 'big girl' job with benefits etc. I have an ok savings account (~20k), some student loan debt, and a teeny 401k from a previous job.
I plan on mapping out some goals this year, paying off my highest interest loan by 12/31, and maxing out my matched 401k contributions.
I just lived/traveled in my van for the past 1.5 years and I've always been super frugal. I want to really enjoy my new apartment, treat myself and have a homey-home (the reason I decided not to live with roommates and save $$).
I'm exceedingly nervous about lifestyle creep. What tips do y'all have for enjoying yourself and setting up a comfortable home while avoiding consistent spending growth?
