I am looking for BIFL boots that are waterproof and durable. I have checked out the boots in the sidebar but they are almost all outside my price range (I am a college student AKA my price range is limited... $100-200 is as far as I can go). I like the look of Clark's or Blundstone's but have heard sad things about their decline in quality, so I am wary of purchasing them. However, I live in an area with gorgeous weather and little rain (average of about 20 inches of rainfall per yer) so I was wondering if it would still be worth it for me to buy from either of those two companies? I'd still wear the boots regularly (probably not every day) but I don't think they'll be going through anything strenuous since they'd just be for daily walking and the occasional rain. I have also checked out ebay for cheaper versions of some of the boots I liked from the sidebar (including Blunnie's pre-outsourcing) but were unable to find any that were in my price range & also in my size.

I'd appreciate any advice and even suggestions for other brands if possible! Thank you (:
