Hello DIY makers, I need your help and advice on what do to with my peltiersFirst, I bought 4 "TEC1-12706" and 1 "TEC1-12706 http://ift.tt/2DO7Qot module - Model: SP1848-27145 http://ift.tt/2FYs58P I receive the peltier I ordered online, one of them was not working at all and probably defective so I got 3x TEC1 and 1x TEG left.I tried testing them with this power supply http://ift.tt/2DP16Xq watch in youtube that you have to connect it in molex Yellow wire fore 12v and Black for ground. After connecting it, Power Supply shuts down after 1sec when I connected the Peltier. I tried touching the peltier and the cold side got cold a little bit which means its working but the Power supply is just auto shutdowning.I tried testing it with my brother's power supply http://ift.tt/2FYs6cT IT WORKS! Tested them for a few seconds and its cooling and hotting This is what looks like when I put the peltier in heatsink. http://ift.tt/2DP4Urm tested 1 of tec1-12706 for a few minutes, When I came to check it, Its not cooling anymore. I think is DEAD!!!So now I have 2 dead Tec1-12706, One is defective when arrive and one got died when testing it.Why did it die while being tested? I have 1 TEG and 2 TEC left. I cant afford to fail again because ive waited a whole month for the peltier I ordered online and not to mention the cost ive spend on itWhat should I do? Why did the peltier i tested suddenly not working anymore?Im planning to use TEG as thermoelectric and the 2 TEC as icemaker or airconditioner or fridgePlease help guys via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2G145SE
