Hi all... I am in the process of trying to transition into a more "live with/be happy with less" lifestyle. Not too long ago, I would consume a lot of material things, rack up a lot of debt/waste a lot of hard earned money, and just be heavily influenced by the "hype" media tends to put on these material goods. Up until recently, I began to think "wtf am I doing, somethings got to change". I am currently in the process of selling a lot of my material crap just to get some money back and just trying to not centre myself around material goods. I want to learn how to appreciate life and not complicate it by allowing this crap to consume me. So my question is...What are some tips/ideas/things that you guys do to 1.declutter, live a simpler life, and appreciate it more and 2. not allow yourself to be overly consumed by material things?
