I can reliably put away $250/month, not much but it’s what I can do. So it’s a little disheartening sometimes when two inches too far backing up on a snowy New Hampshire day flushes two months of savings down the toilet.
Saving money is fucking impossible. At least I won’t have to run up a credit card for it because I can just bleed it out of my house-purchase savings. Rough day today.
How do you cheer yourself up after shitting away hard-earned savings on stupid mistakes?
EDIT: replacement glass is $350, $200 for install. Deductible on glass on my policy is $500.
