I barely have the slightest clue about anything financial which is horrible because I’m 27 years old and should have my shit together by now. I’m paying off a student loan of about $8,500 with Navient (hate them) and interest accrues daily. I didn’t even finish school so there’s that. Stupid, I know. So basically I’ll be paying it off for a very long time. My question: is there anything I can do so I can actually notice a difference in my balance and actually see it go down by quite a bit instead of just a couple $$? My monthly payment is a little less than $100 but I always pay a little more. I would love to pay a few hundred more but considering I have a lot more bills, it’s just not possible. Any tips? I stay up many nights stressing about all my bills and it just feels like I’ll be in debt forever :(
