Hey guys, Just looking for some input before I potentially screw things up on a shiplap / wooden tongue and groove ceiling I’ve been working on.Used Zinsser cover stain primer since an employee at the paint store suggested it, and I was aware of how well Zinsser primers usually are.This particular primer, however, is oil based. It worked well in covering the knots etc and my main concern was getting the ceiling paint to stick to the wooden ceiling.After looking up the product online it says it can be used “under and over latex topcoats”I’ve heard before that you shouldn’t use latex over oil paint but will this particular primer cause any concerns do you guys think?
