Hello so I have insurance (Aetna) and am looking for a way to get tested and need some advice. Most Psych doctors are going to charge $1000 up front then get reimbursed through insurance.
Would it be worth it to check out a GP in my college town first?
Let me start off my saying I declined medication in highschool because of sports(would've made it hard to eat) but in college managing my ADD is unbearable. I'm off at college right now and my primary care doctor won't prescribe it long distance.
How would r/frugal handle this?
