This applies to users who want to switch from their current provider and bring an eligible device. You will only be charged about $5 a month for fees and taxes with autopay, everything else is discounted for a year, and you can cancel any time you want. You'll have to do a credit check and probably spend about an hour on the phone with them, but you can get the BYOD sim from a sprint store for $10 instead of getting it shipped which I think is cheaper and faster. I think it's up to 6 free lines.
I just switched today from Total Wireless so MVNOs are eligible too as long as they're not on the sprint network. The offer can expire at any time so don't wait too long. I think on average this can save most people about $500. I also spent a long time this weekend researching this and couldn't find any red flags, so if you live in an area that has good Sprint coverage (ha) this might be a good deal.
