Hello, I plan on making a sign for a friend by using a scroll saw to cut out the letters, painting them, and then attaching them to a stained board. The letters will be painted with white spray paint prior to attaching them. The board was already stained with a dark Minwax gel stain.Is hot glue strong enough to attach the letters to the board or should I use some other adhesive? Is there something I can do to clean up any of the squeeze out on thin letter pieces?Also, once the letters are attached, can I put a protective coat of clear polycrylic over the entire sign? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2s026Y0
