I live in Manitoba (cold) and have been having some trouble with water leaking from chimney. Lots of ice forming and dripping in attic (http://ift.tt/2nZ4Xfs) Just bought the house 3 months ago, has been a constant issue despite my efforts.First thought was the roof is leaking so I went up and sealed all around the chimney outside, still leaked. Father in law went up and sealed some more, no change.Roof is 2 years old so got the company to check it out. Was told "roofs don't leak in winter, it's a condensation problem, add more insulation"So I sealed as many air leaks that I could find (bathroom fan was a big one), added some fiberglass around the chimney, but as the pictures show, no luck stopping it.The bathroom exhaust vents out a soffit near the chimney, a little frost around there, but I feel like the volume of ice just around the chimney pipe is more than just condensation. In do plan to move bathroom exhaust to vent out roof once it warms up outside. What do I do, or Who do I call, can't imagine how much damage the water might be doing. Thank you. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2nZ27XK
