I'm painting a ton of base board trim I purchsed from Home Depot. I'm using Sherwin Williams ProClassic Latex (http://ift.tt/2rCVxZQ) and spaying it with a fuji 4 stage sprayer. I thinned the paint out, and I'm getting a decent result from the actual paint, but I noticed that after I sprayed the wood grain was very apparent. See photo, it's not as easy to see in the photo but in real life it's more apparent. I've tried sanding down and applying multiple coats, but so far I haven't seemed to get the wood grain to completely go away. I noticed that even on the primed boards (that I haven't painted) that I can see and feel the wood grain, so it doesn't seem like the paint is actually causing the wood grain to pop, but I haven't found a way yet to fix this.http://ift.tt/2GgpT8u via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2HiASQ2
