Just got done gutting the office in our old farm house. The room is a 7'x20' addition done in 1970 off the old back door. It sits on a slab that needs a little attention in places but has no water issues. The bottom 3 feet of the walls are cinder block foundation.Current insulation is fiberglass batts. Some needs replaced as mice made a number of nests throughout it over the couple years it sat empty. Since it's only one wall, we'll probably replace it all. We plan to drywall (it had sagging vinyl paneling) but I want to know what kind of vapor barrier I might need. We live in Nebraska and so moisture can vary a lot. Should it go on the warm side? I see that it depends on your climate, however with seamless metal siding, it won't go on the cold side for a few years until we add on and redo it all. Thanks via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2H6KXPT
