I’ve started working at a dog grooming place for about 2 days, and although I’ve worked pretty much full days, the manager is talking about only beginning to pay me after a 2 week training period. My question: Is this common? And how can I avoid working for free? I would like to keep this job, but I also want to start saving money up as soon as possible.
