Hey Folks, We've got an old plaster ceiling that is falling apart and that I would like to replace with drywall. It's been easy to replace in sections where the plaster is unobstructed. However, the furnace ducts are mounted directly to the lathe and I don't really understand how we can install the new drywall in those sections. Presumably I need to cut holes for the ducts in the drywall, but how do we get the drywall into position with the ducts going through it? Thanks! Here's a photo of what I'm talking about: http://ift.tt/2EjrWaU via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2ETZgqh
