I posted here a few days ago about how I recently started my journey to a simpler way of life by exchanging my books for a Kindle. I'm happy with the Kindle I purchased (The 2016 6" Touch) and I was telling me aunt about my purchase and why I purchased it. (We're both avid readers and she has an entire wall dedicated to her bookshelf) and decided that she wouldn't mind getting herself one... So she purchased the latest, top of the market, nearly $400 Kindle.

I got so jealous and heavily considered returning mine and getting the same... And then it struck me that I am perfectly okay with the Kindle that I purchased and that it was just jealously over someone getting something better than me. (Excessively unnecessary, imo)

How do you handle that? It really plays on the whole Keeping Up With The Joneses mentality.
