So me and about 40 people go larping. Our site is on a plateau of a large hill and the nearest river/stream is about 600 ft down the hill and across a swampy marsh. Not ideal for your morning shower. To rectify this I wanna build a shower stall up by our camp and use a grey water reclamation system. The basic design is simple enough. 5 gallon bucket of water piped to a pump which pumps to a propane water heater which in turn pipes to a shower head. The shower drains into a basin that refills the 5 gallon bucket at the beginning. The only water lost is to steam which makes the ammount we have to lug up the hill negligible. My issue is cleaning the grey water. I figure a charcoal filter would be best.My issue is what size and where in the system would it be best fit. Given the reduced pressure the filter would cause.Any suggestions? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2BkemFC
