I want to basically have a retractable desk that can swivel over the passenger seat of me Ford Transit Work Van. I cannot seem to find a product that meets what I want, so I have come to the almighty Gods of r/DIY for help. The closest product I can find for references is http://ift.tt/2EgwYsV But I am not paying $180. Also I only need one phone mouth and tablet mount. I was wondering if I could design some sort of hydraulic boom style leg on each side and attach them to the seat bolts for reinforcement.
