Figured I'd post this little tip since it's interview season. I just received my pair of Park Ave dark chili 2nd's last week and I am very happy. No cosmetic defects as far as I can tell so they're basically the same as the $425 full-priced shoes. These are probably the cheapest you will ever find Park Aves or Fifth Aves.
To get this deal, go to the factory seconds page on the AE site (https://www.allenedmonds.com/factory-second-shoes/) and find your pair of shoes. During checkout, use ID.me to verify that you are a student and ta-da, you will get a 25% discount*.
*From I gathered by talking with an AE sales rep, you are not supposed to be able to use your student discount for factory seconds since they are technically not considered full priced items. I had to talk to the rep about something else for my order and she was very surprised that I managed to apply the discount. If this is a mistake, they might fix it soon.
Btw this deal doesn't work on Shoebank since there's no way to apply a student discount on the website. Hope some of you are able to benefit from this!
