Am I over simplifying it? Basically, I'm looking at the fact that they're both retailers who put the customers first, aren't worried with making the highest margin (quite the opposite), and take on a lot of debt in the process and barely scrape out a profit.
I also say this because Jeff Bezos has said that Sam Waltons autobiography was a HUGE influence on him / Amazon.
