My uncle is in his early 40s, all of this takes place in the United States. In 2010, he quit his job (from what I understand, it was essentially hardware prototype assembly for a networking company) and moved to the middle of the desert to work in a commune of sorts for religious reasons. He got sick of it and has an 8 year work history gap now, with very little personal possessions left. Before he left, he had some computer networking/CCNA-type skills, and the current plan is to just get him up to date and see if he can find a job. Is this idea feasible, or are there any ideas about how to get him reintegrated into society as quickly as possible?
